HC Deb 16 March 1970 vol 798 c31W
Mr. Oakes

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many and which industrial diseases are being currently considered by the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council.

Mr. Ennals

Vibration syndrome, pneumoconiosis together with associated respiratory conditions, and occupational deafness have been formally referred to the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council and are currently under its consideration. The Council itself, however, can consider on its own initiative any possible additions or variations to the existing schedule of prescribed industrial diseases.
