Mr. Randall

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what was the number of houses with no interal water closet, no fixed bath and no hot water tap in the 1961 and 1966 censuses; and what information is available as a result of the censuses about the presence of cold water taps.

In 1961 there were 246,000 households without a cold water tap; 314,000 households shared one. The information was not obtained in 1966.
