§ 31. Mr. Wingfield Digby
asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what study he has made of the latest Mansholt Plan, details of which are in his possession; and what is his estimate of its effect on British agriculture, when Great Britain joins the enlarged Community.
§ Mr. Cledwyn Hughes
I am of course aware of the Commission's Memorandum on the Reform of Agriculture which was presented to the Council of Ministers of the E.E.C. in December, 1968, but it would be premature to estimate its possible effect on British agriculture since no decisions have yet been taken on it.
