asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions have taken place in 1969 and 1970 between the representatives of Her Majesty's Government and the Government of France concerning the future of the New Hebrides; and if he will make a statement.

There have been no such discussions either in 1969 or in 1970.
