§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Minister of Overseas Development what plan she has for the appointment of a new Chairman of the Commonwealth Development Corporation; whether the new appointment will carry the same salary of £6,500 per annum; and whether she will give an assurance that she will not make this new appointment until after the General Election or before the expiration of the term of office of the present holder.
