§ Mr. Harold WalkerThe survey made by the Factory Inspectorate in 1969 disclosed that in factories in the Darlington district there were 70 joint safety committees or other joint consultative committees concerned with safety. This represented 50 per cent. of factories where more than 50 persons were employed.
