76. Dr. Miller

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what steps he is taking towards establishing better housing information services within the field of local government.

77. Mr. Ford

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will encourage local authorities to use their powers to inform members of the public on housing matters more widely.

Mr. Freeson

Following discussions in the Central Housing Advisory Committee, my right hon. Friend is considering what advice might be given to housing authorities on establishing comprehensive housing advisory services to meet their varying local situations.

78. Mr. Ford

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government which housing priority area local authorities have implemented the recommendation of the Seebohm Committee's Report on personal and social services for the setting up of general housing information offices.

79. Mr. Dunn

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what authorities on Merseyside have taken action on the Seebohm Report's recommendation that council should establish centres of housing information covering the private field as well as municipal housing.
