§ Mr. Gorstasked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications (1) what is his policy regarding review or amendment of Section 24(1) of the Post Office Act. 1969;
(2) whether he will set up a body to advise him on the exercise of the Post 191W Office's monopoly powers granted under Section 24(1) of the Post Office Act, 1969;
(3) whether he will institute an inquiry into the effects of the monopoly powers granted under Section 24(1) of the Post Office Act, 1969 on the development of the British telephone industry.
§ Mr. ChatawayI shall, of course, be considering the powers in the Post Office Act, 1969, but have no immediate plans for more formal review.
