§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Prime Minister whether, when available, he will publish in HANSARD as detailed a list as possible the various Ministers and junior Ministers in the Government, showing the departmental duties allocated to them on which they will deal with correspondence and answer Parliamentary Questions.
§ The Prime MinisterThe responsibilities of senior Ministers have been made clear. So far as junior Ministers are concerned, the allocation of duties is for the Minister in charge of the Department to make clear from time to time as need arises. I do not think that it would be desirable to formalise these arrangements by promulgating a detailed list in HANSARD.
