asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the estimated cost of the P.5 invalid vehicle once production has started.

Tenders for the new vehicles, of which P.5 was one of the prototypes, are expected to be invited shortly when all the details of the vehicle are settled. Costs are expected to be rather higher than for the existing three-wheelers, mainly because of the automatic transmission.
