asked the Minister of Transport what was the total expenditure on major and minor road schemes in Cornwall in 1967 and 1968.

During the financial year 1967–68 total expenditure on new construction and improvements to roads in Cornwall was £1,460,000. The provisional figure for 1968–69 is £1,245,000.
