asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will make a statement on his survey of the proposal to set up a central Scottish airport in the Skinflats area of Stirlingshire.

No such survey has been made.

Some preliminary technical assessments of possible sites for airports in Central Scotland have naturally taken place from time to time. They have not, however, resulted in the location of a site justifying more intensive study.
