asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will seek to arrange for the handover of Edinburgh Airport to the British Airports Authority by October, 1970.

Mr. Goronwy Roberts

We are ready to hand this airport over to the British Airports Authority on suitable terms, but it would be optimistic to hope to arrange this as early as my hon. Friend suggests.

asked the President of the Board of Trade when work is expected to begin on the improvement of the terminal facilities at Turnhouse Airport, Edinburgh.
