HC Deb 24 February 1970 vol 796 cc269-70W
34. Mr. Macdonald

asked the Minister of Transport how many countries have signed the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic; and of those how many make it obligatory on motorists to carry advance warning triangles.

Mr. Bob Brown

Her Majesty's Government have been informed that 35 countries have signed the convention. I understand that of these 11 make it obligatory for all motorists to carry advance warning triangles.
