HC Deb 24 February 1970 vol 796 cc297-8W
86. Sir Knox Cunningham

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will take steps to extend to Northern Ireland the proposed communications network throughout England, Wales and Scotland, in order that the Royal Ulster Constabulary may share the advantage of access to records on the central computer complex.

Mrs. Shirley Williams

The possibilities are now being discussed with the Northern Ireland authorities, who have been kept in touch with the development of the project.
