The plan is a working document drawn up by my Department for local authority planning staffs. The greater part of the land within the "area of interest" shown on it would not, of course, be required either for tunnel purposes or for the improved A.20 road route.
§ 35. Mr. Sheldonasked the Minister of Transport if he will now revise the financial estimates contained in the 1963 White Paper on the Channel Tunnel.
