§ Mr. Hannanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will show, separately, how many new houses have been provided by the new towns for low-paid manual workers employed there; and in each case what proportion these houses are of their total housing stock.
§ Mr. RossStandard houses are not provided for particular income groups, but rent rebate schemes in operation in all the New Towns are designed to ensure that low-paid workers are not deprived of Corporation houses because of inability to pay rent.
