HC Deb 19 February 1970 vol 796 c178W
Mr. Dodds-Parker

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what progress has been made by Cable and Wireless in providing better telex communications with Turks and Caicos; and what factilities have been made available with American help.

Mr. Foley

The Turks and Caicos authorities have no plans for providing an international telex service at present. The question of using telecommunications facilities which might be made avialable with American help is under discussion.
