Mr. Wall

asked the Minister of Overseas Development what proposals she has to continue the land re-settlement scheme in Kenya after the completion of the 400,000 acre scheme.

It is for the Kenya Government to make proposals to me it they require further funds from Her Majesty's Government for their land transfer and settlement schemes. Officials of the Kenya Government have recently held exploratory talks on these and other matters with my officials.
