HC Deb 12 February 1970 vol 795 c403W
Q9. Mr. Bruce-Gardyne

asked the Prime Minister what discussions he had with the United States President during his recent visit to Washington regarding the scale of United States purchases from Rhodesia, in view of the fact that, in the first five months of 1969, recorded United States imports from South Africa exceeded the value of recorded South African exports to the United States of America by $39 million, or 70 per cent.; and with what result.

The Prime Minister

I have nothing to add to what I said in answer to a supplementary question by my hon. Friend the Member for Croydon, South (Mr. Winnick) on 29th January.—[Vol. 794, c. 1714.]
