§ Mr. RossAt the end of 1967–68 the loan debt was £1,626 million—including inter-authority loans and transfers of £14 million—of which £598 million was owed to the Public Works Loan Board. The other main sources are the banks, the stock market, the specialist local authority money market and the public.
