§ 77. Mr. Eadie
asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if, following the introduction of the legislation on social security entitlement, he will amend the amount of disregard.
§ Mr. O'Malley
No. As I said when replying to my hon. Friend on 3rd November, 1969, any increase in the amount of disregard specified in the Ministry of Social Security Act would only benefit those already living above the normal supplementary benefit levels.—[Vol. 790, c.15.]
