HC Deb 02 February 1970 vol 795 c24W
Mr. Michael Heseltine

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what action he has taken to inquire into the treatment received by Mrs. Ann Wilson at the Royal Eye Infirmary, Plymouth, in 1968; whether he will now publish his conclusions; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Crossman

Mrs. Wilson's complaint has been the subject of investigation by a committee appointed by the regional hospital hoard. I understand that the committee has finished its work and that the board will inform the interested parties of the outcome as soon as possible.
