§ Mr. AmeryIn the 18 months April 1969—September 1970, 650 tenants in England and Wales were refused extension of their security on a second application, against 1,385 tenants who were granted it. Figures on second applications are not available for earlier periods, nor are any figures for withdrawals of such applications.
