§ 75. Mr. Hugh Jenkinsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will make a further statement on the Government's decision in relation to the proposed withdrawal from the Persian Gulf.
§ Mr. GodberNo decision on Her Majesty's Government's future Gulf policy has yet been taken. Sir William Luce has been engaged in extensive consultations with the leaders in the Gulf States and with other Governments which are concerned. We are now considering what Her Majesty's Government's policy should be in the light of these consultations and of developments in the area.
