§ Mr. AlisonThe salaries and conditions of service of nurses are matters for negotiation in the Nurses and Midwives Whitley Council and the rôle of the nurse generally in hospitals and the community is being reviewed by the Committee on Nursing under the Chairmanship of Professor Asa Briggs.
