asked the President of the Board of Trade what was the value of imports of non-ferrous metals from South Africa in 1969 and the corresponding figure for 1964.

Mr. Mason:

The figures are given on page 82 of the Overseas Trade Accounts for December, 1965, and 1969 and they show that United Kingdom imports were £3.6 million in 1964 and £19.6 million in 1969.
