§ Mr. Greenwood101 derelict land schemes submitted by 62 local authorities in England were given final approval for grant during 1969–70. The estimated cost of these schemes was over £3 million. Grants amounting to £541,781 were paid to 36 local authorities during the same period, but not necessarily in respect of the same schemes.
