§ 2. Mr. Hooley
asked the Minister of Overseas Development whether, in view of the change of policy in respect of pensions for former expatriate colonial civil servants, Her Majesty's Government will now re-open discussions on aid to the Republic of South Yemen.
§ Mr. Whitaker:
I would prefer to await the satisfactory institution of the arrangements for indigenous pensioners announced in my right hon. Friend's reply to the hon. Member for Sutton and Cheam (Mr. Sharples) on 19th March before considering the question of possible development assistance.—[Vol. 798. c. 208–9.]
