§ 43. Dr. Millerasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what Government grants are being provided for the Anderston Comprehensive Redevelopment Scheme in relation to the new bridge, houses, roads and factories; and if he will make a statement.
§ Dr. Dickson Mabon:Government grants and subsidies are payable for buying land in the comprehensive redevelopment area and preparing it for redevelopment; for building houses; and for new principal roads, including the Kingston Bridge. Applications for some of these grants are still to come, and I cannot identify the precise amount of assistance which relates to this area alone.
