HC Deb 20 April 1970 vol 800 c1W
3. Mr. Tudor Watkins

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what progress has been made with regard to the planning of a bypass road of Brecon; and whether consultants have been called in to assist with the programme for construction.

Mr. George Thomas:

Consultants have been appointed to prepare the scheme. An aerial survey has been carried out and possible routes are being examined.

When a line has been chosen I will publish proposals in a draft Order under the Highways Act, 1959.
