asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer by what date the 3,000 jobs will be located in the Edinburgh area in connection with the Inland Revenue Computer Centre.

Mr. Taverne

On present plans, the Computer Centre at Edinburgh will be fully set up by 1979 and at that date will employ approximately 3,600 staff.
