§ 61. Mr. Carlisleasked the Minister of Transport in view of the recent fatal accident on the railway bridge at Moore, Cheshire, whether he will take steps to improve the safety of the road at this point.
Mr. Bob BrownThis road is a principal road for which Cheshire County Council is the highway authority. I understand that representatives of the Council attended a site meeting yesterday; when investigation is complete the County Council will no doubt consider whether steps to improve safety are required.
