§ Mr. LuardTo discuss any such amendment or adjustment would be premature. Any calculations of the effects on the cost of living in this country of entering the European Communities must be based on a series of different assumptions concerning their future policies and other factors. As my hon. Friend knows,88W assessments of these effects are at present being undertaken and will be published when they are completed.
