§ 33. Mr. Blenkinsopasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will recognise the Standing Committee for the Countryside in 1970 Conference as the official body responsible for the organisation of events in connection with European Conservation Year 1970.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonYes. The Standing Committee has already voluntarily undertaken considerable preparatory work, and I should like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to its efforts which have played a large part in initiating the idea of a Conservation Year.
