asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many agricultural holdings in Wales have ceased to exist as a result of industrial development, housing and amalgamation during the past five years.

I estimate that the number of agricultural holdings in Wales fell by about 4,000 between 1963 'and 1968. No complete analysis of the reasons is available.
