§ Mrs. Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will take steps to arrange for all land in Scotland to be surveyed to ensure its most efficient use.
§ Mr. RossPlanning legislation already places on local planning authorities the duty of carrying out surveys of their districts and reviewing these every five years. Section 1 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act, 1969, will, when brought into operation, make surveys subject to continuous review.
