asked the Minister of Technology (1) what information he has given to the Central Electricity Generating Board and the Atomic Construction Consortia about the economics and feasibility of constructing and operating steam-generating heavy-water reactors in this country, with a view to establishing an export trade;

(2) what information he has given to the Central Electricity Generating Board and the Atomic Construction Consortia about the economics and feasibility of constructing and operating high-temperature reactors in this country, with a view to establishing an export trade.

The Atomic Energy Authority is in close and continuing touch with the generating boards and the nuclear power design and construction companies on the technical and economic potential of both the S.G.H.W.R. and the Mark III gas-cooled reactor, and all A.E.A. information and experience has been made known.
