Mr. Leslie Huckfield

asked the Minister of Transport (1) what action he will take following his examination of recent evidence on drugs and driving from the Automobile Association.

(2) what consideration he has given to recent evidence on drugs and driving published by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, a copy of which is in his possesion.

(3) whether he will increase the amount of finance available to the Road Research Laboratory for research into the effect of drugs and driving, following his study of recent evidence by the Automobile Association.

(4) what direction he has given to the Road Research Laboratory on research into drugs and driving, following his study of the findings of the Automobile Association.
