Mr. Leslie Huckfield

asked the Postmaster-General, (1) what is the average length of time which a customer is required to wait for a telephone connection in Nuneaton and Bedworth;

(2) what is the waiting list for telephone connections in Nuneaton and Bed-worth at the present time;

(3) what was the number of applicants waiting for telephone connections in Nuneaton and Bedworth on the first day of each month of 1968.

At Nuneaton we expect to give service to 200 people in April and to the remainder by about the end of the year when additional exchange equipment is scheduled for completion.

At Bedworth all should be served in June excepting 19 people on new housing estates where provision of cable is dependent upon building development.
