HL Deb 16 December 1969 vol 306 c1096WA
LORD MANCROFT

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What action they propose to take to implement the recommendation of the Fourth Annual Report of the Law Commission for an early comprehensive examination of the subject of privacy by a widely based Commission or Committee.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

Her Majesty's Government have noted the views of the Law Commission on this subject. As I said on December 3, in reply to the Motion moved by the noble Lord, Lord Windlesham [OFFICIAL REPORT, column 175], I hope the Government will be in a position to make a statement shortly.
