HC Deb 09 December 1969 vol 793 cc53-4W
52. Mr. Michael Heseltine

asked the Minister of Transport what is the latest trading estimate for the calendar year 1970 for those bus operations being transferred from the London Transport Board to the National Bus Company on 1st January, 1970.

Mr. Mulley

The London Transport Board estimates that these services will incur a trading loss of about £0.4 million in 1970. In addition, an extra contribution to depreciation of £0.2 million will be necessary to allow for bus fleet renewals.
