asked the Secretary of State for Defence what assessment he has made of the value of Operation Military Aid to the Civil Community of work in Great Britain to situations such as the current work of the Royal Engineers in Anguilla.

Mr. Reynolds

Military Aid to the Civil Community in the United Kingdom is directly relevant to the execution of similar schemes overseas, and experience gained in this country will clearly be of value to the Royal Engineers in Anguilla.
