Nabarroasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether, in view of British public opinion about the burning of the Australian flag by students in London on 27th October, 1968, he will make an official apology to the Government of Australia 250W and publish the terms of that apology.
§ Mr. WhitlockThe British Government, of course, deplore the burning of the Australian flag by demonstrators in London. The Australian authorities are aware of this and I do not consider any further official action necessary.
