§ 54. Mr. James Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will seek to put on the agenda of the forthcoming meeting with Commonwealth Prime Ministers means to end the Nigerian civil war and the ensuing problems of post-war rehabilitation.
§ Mr. M. StewartThe agenda for a Prime Minister's meeting is for collective decision by the Heads of Commonwealth Governments. In keeping with the confidential nature of the discussions at these meetings the agenda is not published. I am hopeful that progress may be made towards resolving the Nigerian conflict before the January meeting.
