§ Mr. Rossiasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he has now received the report of the Housing Management Sub-Committee of the Central Housing Advisory Committee which amongst other matters, is considering the practice of some local authorities in reducing the sum payable to owner-occupiers upon the compulsory acquisition of their property when they are rehoused in council accommodation; and what action he now proposes to take in this connection.
§ Mr. MacCollThe Housing Management Sub-Committee are still taking evidence and it will be some time before they can make their report, but I understand that they have received evidence on the practice mentioned by the hon. Member.
