asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will include improved provision for chronic disability in the new Earnings-Related Pensions Scheme.

I must ask the hon. Gentleman to await the publication of the Government's proposals later this winter.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services when the White Paper on the new Earnings-Related Pensions Scheme is to be published.

Details of the new scheme will be given in the Government's White Paper which will be available this winter.
