§ Sir E. Brownasked the Minister of Technology what action he has taken to satisfy himself that the recent increases in the price of motor cars were necessary.
§ Mr. BennAdvance notification of these increases was given to my Department in accordance with the early warning arrangements by all the manufacturers concerned, and after detailed examination of each case I decided to offer no objection to their proposals.
