§ 49. Mr. Atkinsonasked the Minister of Health what estimate he has made of the extra cost involved in making it obligatory for all dentists practising within the Health Service to provide each patient with the treatment and appliances he or she needs without the payment of additional private fees.
§ Mr. SnowNone. A dentist is under no obligation to accept any individual patient for a course of treatment; but when he has done so he is required by his terms of service to ensure the provision under the National Health Service of all treatment necessary for dental fitness which the patient is willing to undergo.
