HC Deb 11 April 1968 vol 762 cc291-2W
Mr. Lomas

asked the Postmaster-General whether he will make a further statement on the date of implementation of his proposal that only letters conforming to the Post Office-preferred range of sizes should qualify for the minimum rates of postage.

Mr. Mason

I shall make regulations this year giving me power to charge extra for letters which do not conform to these sizes. I shall not, however, impose any extra charge before the autumn of 1969.
